CfA: New international Master’s program, „Religion and the Secular: Traditions and Transformations“2026.7.12 {en}

We at the Institute for the Study of Religion at Leipzig University are happy to announce the new international Master’s program, „Religion and the Secular: Traditions and Transformations.“
The program covers the study of religion from the religious history to the contemporary perspectives. At Leipzig, we offer the opportunity to focus on Buddhism and Asian religions and collaborate with the Chinese, Japanese, Central Asian and South Asian studies – all in the same building! We also offer the options to focus on African religions and Modern Turkey studies.
