Alexis Stanimiroudis

studied Law and Area Studies with a focus on China at universities in Göttingen, Berlin, and Hangzhou. During a year-long academic exchange at Zhejiang University in the People’s Republic of China, he not only advanced his Mandarin skills to an advanced level in both spoken and written language but also gained intercultural competencies. His thesis focused on the platform economy in China’s livestreaming industry, offering an in-depth analysis of host strategies for audience engagement and their relationships with platforms, framed within a Marxist theoretical perspective. Alongside his academic pursuits, he gained professional experience in merchandising and consulting at the agency move:elevator. He currently resides in Berlin.
