Anne-Sophie L. König, M.A.

is a doctoral student in Japanese Studies from Ludwig- Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich and a research associate for the DFG- funded project (510553228) Demography and Democracy: How Population Aging Alters Democracy—The Case of Japan. Her research interest is politics in Japan with a focus on democracy studies, representation, local politics and reforms.
