Erach Bharucha

professor and Director of the Institute of Environment Education and Research (BVIEER), Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, India. He is a conservationist and also the Chairman of the Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board, India. His research interests include, among other things, urban and environmental health. He also leads multiple programs on environmental education, education for sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, and teacher trainings in India.
