Jin-Heon Jung
professor at the National Institute of Unification Education in Seoul, South Korea. He received his PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He previously served as a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity in Göttingen, Germany, and as the director of the Research Unit for Social Integration at the Institute of Korean Studies of the Free University of Berlin, Germany. His selected publications include Migration and Religion in East Asia: North Korean Migrants‘ Evangelical Encounters (2015) and Seoul and Pyongyang Met in Berlin (2022, originally published in Korean)
