Jörg Rodenwaldt

eceived his doctorate in economics from the Free University of Berlin. After completing his studies with a regional specialization in Asia, he worked as a visiting researcher at the Social Science Institute of the University of Tokyo and then at the East Asian Seminar of the Free University. He later worked in finance and for many more years in the Asia-Pacific region for major German companies before setting up his own business as a consultant, lecturer and author. Rodenwaldt, who wrote his master’s thesis on the evolutionary-associative development of Taiwan, is currently working on the topic of Taiwan again.
