The study explores two complimentary aspects in order to obtain a complete picture of the nutritional status of China’s population. The first aspect refers to food availability and consumption including the structure of the diet, while the second one deals with the manifestations of malnutrition. Malnutrition in China the result of undernourishment rather than overeating.
