International Conference on “Japan-Europe-U.S. Relations in Turbulent Times”2026.5.2 {de}

Public conference convening an international group of leading experts on Japan-Europe-U.S. relations for discussions about policy challenges affecting trilateral relations.

On Monday, May 18th, the 21st Century Japan Politics & Society Initiative (21JPSI) at Indiana University (IU) will convene leading experts for a series of public discussions on Japan’s role in the world and major issues affecting Japan-Europe-U.S. relations. It will feature two panels and a keynote address by H.E. Mitsuko SHINO, Japan’s Ambassador to Germany. Details and a list of confirmed speakers appear below.

This public event is open to everyone. It will be in-person and held in English.
